Transfer Station Permits

Transfer Station Permits Expire on June 30, 2023

Transfer Station permits are available to access the Manomet Transfer Station, new permits are valid from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. Purchase or renew your permit online, in person, or via mail. 

• Online Payment The FY24 Transfer Station permits are available to be purchased online (via City Hall Systems).
• In-Person Payment - Available at the Collector's Office at Plymouth Town Hall, 26 Court Street. Monday 7:30am - 3:00pm, Tuesday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Wednesday 7:30am - 3:00pm, Thursday 9:30am - 3:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 11:30am
• Mail-In Payment - If you would prefer to mail in your application, paper applications (PDF) can be submitted with the required documentation, along with a check made payable to Town of Plymouth, to the Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division, 159 Camelot Drive, Plymouth, MA 02360.

Full Year Transfer Station Permit - Fee $190.00

Resident full-year transfer station permits provide access to the Manomet Transfer Station to dispose of trash and recycling. Residency shall be established according to the Town Residency Policy. A vehicle license plate number, state of registration, year, make, model and color must be supplied for each car permit purchased when applying. The fiscal year 2024 resident full-year transfer station permits are valid from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable and remain the property of the Town of Plymouth.

Full Year Transfer Station Trailer Permit - Fee $15.00

Residents may purchase a full-year trailer permit for the Manomet Transfer Station after the purchase of the full-year transfer station permit. Resident full-year transfer station trailer permits provide access to the Manomet Transfer Station for a trailer in the same household as a full-year transfer station pass. Residency shall be established according to the Town Residency Policy. A vehicle license plate number, state of registration, year, make, model and color must be supplied for each trailer permit purchased when applying. One resident full-year transfer station trailer permit may be purchased per household. The fiscal year 2024 resident full-year transfer station trailer permits are valid from July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable and remain the property of the Town of Plymouth.

Recycle Only Permit - Fee $60.00

Resident recycle-only permits provide access to the Manomet Transfer Station to dispose of recycling only. Residency shall be established according to the Town Residency Policy. A vehicle license plate number, state of registration, year, make, model and color must be supplied for each recycle-only permit purchased when applying. The fiscal year 2024 resident full year recycle only permits are valid from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable and remain the property of the Town of Plymouth.

Seasonal Transfer Station Permit

Resident seasonal transfer station permits are available in 1-month (fee $30.00) and 4-month (fee $85.00) options and provide access to the Manomet Transfer Station to dispose of trash and recycling for the period specified. Residency shall be established according to the Town Residency Policy. A vehicle license plate number, state of registration, year, make, model and color must be supplied for each car purchased when applying. One resident seasonal transfer station permit may be outstanding per household at a time. The fiscal year 2024 resident seasonal transfer station permits are valid from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable and remain the property of the Town of Plymouth.

Full Year Second Vehicle Permit - Fee $20.00

Residents may purchase a Full Year Second Vehicle for the Manomet Transfer Station after the purchase of the Full Year Transfer Station Permit. A vehicle license plate number, state of registration, year, make model and color must be supplied for the permit. The fiscal year 2024 resident full-year second vehicle permits are valid from July 1, 2023- June 30, 2024. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable and remain the property of the Town of Plymouth.

Please be aware prior to purchasing a transfer station permit(s) the Town will verify the status of all local taxes, fees, assessments, betterments or other municipal charges. Should you have outstanding local taxes, fees, assessments, betterments or other municipal charges NO transfer station permits will be issued until payment has been received
