[ARCHIVED] Crossover Vehicle Access for September 13 & 14

The Crossover at Long Beach will open for vehicle access on September 13 and 14.  A maximum of 225 vehicles will be allowed beyond Manter's Point at one time, which is the limit required by the Town's environmental permits.  The Manter's Point guard shack will be staffed while the Crossover is open, and Long Beach 4x4 stickers will be required to access areas beyond the Plymouth Beach parking lot.  Extreme tides will limit the time vehicles will be able to access the beach front areas over the weekend.

The Crossover gate will be open for the following hours:

Saturday, September 13:  9:00am to 3:00pm

Sunday, September 14:  9:00am to 4:00pm

September 14 will be the last day for Crossover vehicle access this season.  Ryder Way will remain open throughout the off-season and parking will be available in the parking lots and designated areas along the road.

Please keep in mind that although the Crossover will be closed after this weekend, the seasonal dog restrictions are in place through September 30.  Dogs are prohibited from Town properties beyond the Day Parking Area between April 1 and September 30.  Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach and Ryder Way up to the Day Parking Area.  More information about the seasonal dog restrictions can be found in the Information for Dog Owners pamphlet (PDF).
