Environmental Affairs Fund

Overview

In 2016, the Town established an Environmental Affairs Fund. The Fund is replenished from 50% of the revenues from renewable energy payments in lieu of taxes. The Fund is available to meet the costs of environmental projects including, design and engineering, mitigation, land acquisition, water quality assessments, stormwater control improvement, river restoration, or a grant match to other State or Federal environmental grants.
