Veteran Services, Town of Plymouth is honored to announce a dedication to our Fallen Heroes killed in action since 9/2001.

The ceremony took place at Memorial Hall on July 3, 2013, at 7 pm.

The ceremony consisted of the unveiling of the uniforms worn by Plymouth's fallen heroes. It will showcase the awards and insignias specific to each of the following:

  • Army National Guard SFC Robert E Rooney, KIA September 25, 2003, in Kuwait
  • Marine Lance Cpl Jeffrey C. Burgess, KIA March 25, 2004, in Fallujah, Iraq
  • Army PCG Kevin J. King, KIA April 18, 2007 training exercise at Ft. Campbell, KY
  • Army Sgt. Benjamin W Sherman, KIA November 4, 2009, in Western Afghanistan
  • Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Matthew A. Pucino, KIA November 23, 2009, in Pashay Kala, Afghanistan
  • Army Spec. Steven E Gutowski, KIA September 28, 2011, in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan
