Pump-Out Facilities

No Discharge ZonePlymouth Harbor has been a designated No-Discharge Zone by the EPA since 2006. A no-discharge zone is "a designated body of water that prohibits the discharge of treated and untreated boat sewage. Federal Law prohibits the discharge of untreated sewage from vessels within all navigable waters of the U.S., which include territorial seas within three miles of shore."

Plymouth Harbor has fully accessible pump-out facilities available to the public under the Clean Vessel Act. The Harbormaster operates a pump-out vessel that is seasonally available via VHF Channel 16 or by contacting the office directly at 508-830-4182. The vessel's availability is subject to change at the discretion of the Harbormaster. We typically operate between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. A shore-side pump-out facility is also available seasonally.

Additional shore-side facilities are available at Brewer's Plymouth Marine, and South Shore Dry Dock at Cordage Park.
