Transfer Station Permit Sale Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Transfer station permits can be purchased online through City Hall Systems. The permits run with the town's fiscal year, and so full year purchases are valid from 7/1/2025-6/30/2026.

*Please note that there is no physical sticker to be delivered; the license plate associated with the purchase is scanned upon entry to the facility to verify an active permit.

Proof of Residency

If you are a permanent renter, please provide documentation to verify your residency, such as copy of your license, utility bill, lease, etc. If your property is not held in your name, please provide sufficient documentation to allow for verification of your ownership, such as proof of beneficiary ownership of LLC or trust.

If you have a commercial license plate, please provide a letter on company stationery designating that the car is used for your personal use.
