Project Overview

Construction Workers with EquipmentThe Town of Plymouth Department of Public Works (DPW) completed a project in 2019 to improve the redundancy of the water system in the downtown area and included installing new gate valves on existing water mains. The improvements helped minimize future water interruptions to local businesses and residences. KJS, LLC of Walpole, MA performed the work. Work occurred within the following areas:

  • Market Street at Summer Street
  • #8-22 Main Street Extension
  • Main Street at the intersection of Leyden Street and Market Street
  • Main Street at the intersection of Middle Street
  • Main Street at the  intersection of North Street

Construction began in July 2019 and was completed in August 2019.
