Mission
The Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Town-owned vehicles. While the division functions primarily out of the public eye, it is firmly committed to its mission:
To provide the highest quality of services to Town Departments in a timely manner whenever and wherever needed.
Division Overview
The Plymouth Department of Public Works (DPW) Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance of all Town-owned equipment assigned to the DPW and Police Department.
Employees also assist in snow removal, emergency response, and other function as needed.
The specific functions of the Division include:
- The Division is responsible for maintaining and repairing the vehicles used by the DPW and Police: 143 vehicles for DPW and 42 for the Police Department.
- The Division has 5 Mechanics.
